ATA's Advocacy Program provides a unified public and political voice for tourism, as the Alliance actively lobbies elected officials on the local and state levels in pursuit of its stated mission to enhance Arizona's tourism industry. ATA actively collaborates with the public affairs professionals from its partner organizations to insure a cohesive message is carried forward to all levels of government. ATA believes one voice for tourism is not the answer, but a multitude of voices speaking in harmony will create real change.

This program is comprised of two main segments: Governmental Affairs and Grassroots Advocacy who work together to effectively raise the overall visibility of the tourism industry as a vital component of Arizona's economy.
