Thank you to everyone for their participation in the 30th Annual Governor’s Conference on Tourism.  A special thank you is due to our conference partners, Sherry Henry of the Arizona Office of Tourism, Steve Chucri of the Arizona Restaurant Association, and Debbie Johnson of the Arizona Hotel & Lodging Association for their dedicated efforts in putting this invaluable conference together. Many “behind the scenes” efforts happen in a production like this and we appreciate all the hard work that goes into creating this event.

More than 350 industry professionals attended this year’s conference. We received some very positive feedback about the breakout sessions and presenters. Attendees were able to gain new insight from this conference that can be applied to all programs of work.

We also want to congratulate the winners of both the Governor’s Tourism Awards and STAR gala. The winners deserved the recognition for all their dedication to the tourism industry. Congratulations to a job well done!
